Growing up in a small, rural community in southeastern Michigan has probably helped me retain my natural curiosity and inquisitiveness -
factors that inspired me to pursue writing as a career. I have a knack for uncovering little known facts about people and places, and enjoy
writing stories that give readers a fresh perspective about topics they may have thought they knew well. When I interview people, I want to
learn details not previously shared. When I visit a place, I want to discover what no one else has noticed.
My goal is to put the reader beside me as I explore a subject and to share the experience of learning.
The stories I write cover many subjects - business and marketing, the arts, travel,
legal issues, health care, education, parenting, and history.
